On December 15, 2025, the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ “Safe New Year” campaign will begin in Brest.
New Year’s is a holiday eagerly anticipated by both adults and children. Fun and joyful laughter are the emotions typically associated with New Year’s Eve. But even during the festive festivities, safety should not be forgotten.
To ensure that the Christmas and New Year holidays are not marred by fires and emergencies, rescuers will conduct a nationwide information and propaganda campaign, “Safe New Year,” from December 15, 2025, to January 7, 2026.
As part of the campaign, themed events, quizzes, and competitions will be held in general education institutions and crowded places, featuring the firefighter Santa Claus and other fairytale characters. These events will feature educational games such as “Steps of Rescue” and “5 Differences,” as well as screenings of the cartoon “The Magic Book,” and films and videos such as “Safety Lessons” and “The ABCs of Safety.”
Take part in the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ campaign – spend your long-awaited and beloved holidays joyfully and safely!
