It all starts with an outpatient clinic. The polyclinic is a kind of mirror of medicine. It is at this level that the patient’s communication with the doctor begins, contacts are established, trust in him appears, says chief physician Irina Konstantinovna Chernyakova, a doctor of the highest category, has been running the polyclinic since 2006.
Our polyclinic was founded in 1965 and is unique in terms of its capabilities in providing medical care to the population of the city. The number of the population served is 35,200 people. The planned capacity of the institution is 550 visits per shift (actual – 746 visits).
Taking into account the current demographic situation, medicine should not just exist, but have a preventive orientation, for which all conditions have been created in our institution. Polyclinic No. 2 has 3 departments of general medical practice, cardiological, infectious and endocrinological offices, surgical department, endoscopic office, X-ray department, ultrasound and functional diagnostics office, vaccination, neurological and procedural offices, department of preventive examinations, self-supporting department, clinical diagnostic laboratory, women’s consultation, dental department, medical department rehabilitation with a whole range of services to return patients to active life, prevention department with its own day hospital.
But the most important thing is, of course, the high professional level of specialists working in the polyclinic, as well as a good material and technical base, which makes it possible to conduct a high-level examination, which ensures modern and decent treatment of patients. To date, 358 people work in the polyclinic, of which: 92 doctors people with a qualification category 84.85% (II-23; I-27; higher-6), nursing staff – 158 people with a qualification category 84.56% (II-32; I-55; higher-28).
