A large-scale sociological survey is being conducted as part of the nationwide expert dialogue “Image of the Future of Belarus 2026–2030.”
A large-scale sociological network study will be conducted from October 10 to 31, 2025, using several methods simultaneously: collecting citizen proposals and initiatives, a thematic online survey, and a rapid-response survey. Its ultimate goal is to provide information and analytical support for the adoption and implementation of strategic development priorities for the Republic of Belarus over the next five years.
The online survey questionnaire was compiled based on citizen feedback received on the platform and other previously conducted studies. It addresses pressing issues of concern to the public regarding the development of key areas and spheres of national life.
Specifically, how do Belarusians assess the implementation of the Five-Year Quality Plan and the Year of Improvement objectives? Which economic regulation directions do they support? Which social development path do they consider most promising? And, more generally, how do our citizens envision the Belarus of the future and their role in achieving this vision?
“A legal framework has been established whereby draft policy documents submitted for approval to the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly are first finalized by working groups and undergo extensive public discussion. The nationwide expert dialogue is another unique format for government-society communication, allowing not only to study public opinion but also for every citizen to participate in shaping the future,” noted Ekaterina Rechits, Director of the BISI Center for Analysis of Civil Initiatives “People’s Five-Year Plan.”
A series of expert events based on a unified methodology will also be held in all regions of the country, with the participation of public associations and political parties. The final event will be a foresight session of the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies.
