Relaxing by the water is a wonderful opportunity to improve your health, strengthen your well-being, and experience a ton of positive emotions.

To ensure your time near a body of water doesn’t turn into a tragedy, follow these simple rules:

  • Swim in specially designated areas equipped with beach equipment.
  • Start swimming in sunny, windless weather, with the water temperature not lower than 20°C and the air temperature 20-25°C.
  • The best time for taking water procedures is from 9:00 to 11:00 and from 17:00 to 19:00.
  • The first bath should last 2-3 minutes.
  • If you can’t swim, don’t go into water deeper than waist-deep.
  • After being in the heat for a long time, enter the water slowly, otherwise the sudden change in temperature may stop your breathing.
  • Don’t allow yourself to become chilled. Remember that prolonged exposure to water can lead to cramps.
  • Do not enter or dive into the water while intoxicated.
  • Do not dive in unfamiliar places, do not jump into the water from bridges and cliffs – this can cause serious injuries, including spinal injuries.
  • If you enjoy playing in the water, be careful: don’t grab each other’s arms or legs. In the excitement, you could swallow too much water and lose consciousness.
  • For safety, put a life jacket on your child.

Adults! Do not leave children unattended! By following water safety rules, you will protect your health and life!
